Equitable Pedagogy

  • Description: Participants will consider productive and unproductive beliefs with an emphasis on facilitating each and every student's development of mathematical processes and practices. Participants will be challenged to consider beliefs that hinder students’ mathematical growth. The mathematics teaching practices from Principles to Actions will be discussed as a strategy for promoting growth mindsets in students and teachers.
