Gerlena Clark's many leadership activities include developing curricula in mathematics for 82 school districts in Los Angeles County, producing and directing the Math for All and Math for All Plus interactive satellite telecommunications programs funded by Annenberg/CPM, and serving as chair of the 1992 Mathematics Framework for the state of California.
Clark was also a member of NCTM's Editorial Panel for the 1997 Yearbook. In 1994 she received the Edward Begle Memorial Award for sustained leadership in mathematics.
