Strengthening Students' Future with Chromebooks
The NCTM Equity in Mathematics grant will provide my underachieving students the opportunity to learn and excel with innovative technology used in the real-world. The daily use of Chromebooks will increase students' depth of knowledge, strengthen their mathematical understanding, and support collaborative learning. My students will be filled with enthusiasm when they are presented with a Chromebook. This piece of innovative technology will increase students' interest and in-turn increase their effort and overall achievement. Obtaining this grant will provide me with a teaching tool which embraces differentiation, therefore providing me an efficient teaching tool to assist all students in a variety of ways during a single lesson. The funding from this grant will provide more academic equity for the underachieving students in my classroom.
