Rotations, and Reflections, and Translations! Oh, my! 

I have a strong desire to learn innovative ways for teaching mathematics so I can facilitate and promote meaningful, active, student-centered learning. I am interested in learning about available products, how to acquire them, and most importantly, how to effectively use these resources to create interactive learning experiences in my future classroom. I want to do everything possible to not only become a great mathematics educator, but also a life-long mathematics lover. I cannot wait to be surrounded by 18,000 people who are passionate about mathematics, passionate about teaching mathematics, and passionate about learning new methods and techniques to improve their instruction. The true beneficiaries of my attending the annual meeting, however, will be my students, because most importantly, I want them to experience an education in mathematics that is inspirational and life-changing.
