Enhancing Student Mathematics Learning through the Use of Tools and Technology Grant
IPad technology in the classrooms can be a powerful tool for learning and comprehension of Mathematical Teaching Practices. When iPads are used strategically, the interactivity it provides can make for a very engaging experience for elementary school aged students. Our plan is to have students use the Explain Everything app to show their understanding of math practices. Through this interactive whiteboard and screencasting app students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of concepts.
