Meet Me in Indy for Math in the Fast Lane

I am writing this grant so that I may be privileged to receive professional development from the best minds in the mathematics education field at the NCTM Annual Meeting. It is my intention to implement and share my learning with the students in my classes and my peers in the Brunswick City Schools. I believe strongly in finding new means to enrich and extend my students' thinking. I know that I will be a more effective teacher after collaborating with colleagues in Indianapolis. Since this is my second year teaching mathematics, there will be wonderful ideas and opportunities for learning presented at the NCTM Annual Meeting that I have yet to explore. I am eager to fill my role as an active participant in the learning process, so Meet Me in Indy for Math in the Fast Lane.
