Membership in an NCTM Affiliate is a terrific complement to membership in NCTM. NCTM's Affiliates are independent organizations, so membership in one does not automatically mean membership in NCTM.
There are more than 230 independent Affiliates throughout the United States, its territories, and Canada. Most Affiliates are organized by geographic area. Others are organized around a specific topic in mathematics education and are called Affiliates-at-Large. Many people belong to their local and state/province level Affiliates in addition to one or more Affiliates-at-Large.
To Join an NCTM Affiliate
Step One: Find Affiliates of interest in the online NCTM Affiliate Directory by selecting the category and/or state or province from the drop-down menu.
Step Two: Select the Affiliate you wish to join.
Each Affiliate listing includes the cost of dues for a one-year regular membership and offers contact information for the organization.
To join, send a check made payable to the Affiliate to the contact person listed.
