ASA/NCTM Joint Committee on Curriculum in Statistics and Probability
The Committee is composed of three appointed members from the American Statistical Association (ASA) and three from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
Committee Charge
ASA/NCTM Joint Committee on Curriculum in Statistics and Probability is charged to:
1. Provide national leadership for the inclusion of statistics and probability in the Nation's mathematics curriculum. 2. Promote awareness programs and quantitative literacy among teachers.
3. Support the development of an appropriate curriculum.
