Member Discount 
The NCTM Member price is 20% off the list price on all educational materials and products. Member discount cannot be combined with quantity discounts or sale prices. Not a member? Join now.  

Quantity Discounts 
A quantity discount applies to any order for 10 or more copies of a single title shipped to one address. The quantity discounts are: 

10-24 copies: 25% 

25-99 copies: 30% 

100 or more copies: 35% 

Titles cannot be combined to qualify for the quantity discount. Quantity discounts cannot be combined with sale items or the 20% member discount. Copies purchased with quantity discounts are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. 

Sales Tax 
Orders shipped to Virginia are charged applicable state sales tax. For tax exempt orders within Virginia, please place your credit card order with Customer Service by calling (800) 235-7566 (if your tax exempt certificate is already on file at NCTM). You may also fax your order, with credit card information or an official purchase order, to (703) 476-2970. Include a copy of your tax exempt certificate if not previously provided.  

NCTM Journal Back Issues  
Copies of recent issues of Teaching Children Mathematics (TCM), Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School (MTMS), and Mathematics Teacher (MT) are available for $12.00 each. Copies of recent issues of Journal for Research in Mathematics Education (JRME) are available for $33.00 each. NCTM Journal Articles 
NCTM journal articles are available for purchase at http://www.nctm.org/catalog/productsview.aspx?id=0. Articles are available from 1999—present issues of Teaching Children Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching in Middle School, and Mathematics Teacher. Articles are available from 1997—present issues of Journal for Research in Mathematics Education. NCTM individual members can access articles from their subscribed journal(s) at no additional cost by signing in to My NCTM. NCTM individual members receive a 50% discount on downloaded articles from non-subscribed journals. 

Photocopies of individual articles that have been published in Teaching Children Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching in Middle School, and Mathematics Teacher are available for $9.00 per article. Copies of individual articles in Journal for Research in Mathematics Education are available for $12.00 per article. Standing Order Account 
Purchase your NCTM publications through a standing order account. You will receive new NCTM publications as soon as they are available. Any publication that does not fit your professional needs can be returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition within 30 days for full credit of purchase price. Standing Order Accounts may be closed at any time. To set up a standing order account, please contact customer service (800) 235-7566 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or nctm@nctm.org. 

Sale Prices 
All sale items are the final price and no additional discounts, including member or quantity discounts, will be applied. All sales for items purchased at the sale price are final and cannot be returned and no refunds will be given. Items received damaged will be exchanged for the same item. 

NCTM Return Policy 
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unopened items in resalable condition within 30 days of sale for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original product packaging.  

NCTM does not accept returns of the following items:  

• Non-defective, opened CDs and/or DVDs  
• eBooks, eChapters, or digital content
• Items purchased at sale prices  
• Items purchased at quantity discount 
• Items that have been damaged through customer use or abuse

To return an item, indicate the reason for the return, include the packing slip or invoice, and wrap the package securely. The customer is responsible for paying the shipping and handling on the original invoice and for shipping the package back to NCTM at the address above; NCTM refunds or credits the purchase price only. Orders $10 and under will be issued account credit.

eBooks, eChapters, and digital content can not be returned.

NCTM Exchange Policy 
NCTM will exchange damaged products if notified within 72 hours of delivery. To exchange an item, please contact customer service (800) 235-7566 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or nctm@nctm.org.    

Out of Stock Items
You will not be charged for an item until it is in stock. The rest of your order will be shipped immediately, and you will be shipped the out-of-stock items as soon as it returns to inventory. Your shipping charge will be prorated per delivery.

NCTM accepts checks (Make payable to NCTM in $USD), purchase orders and credit cards (we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).

Order Confirmation 
Your online order will be acknowledged by electronic mail. Included in this message will be the estimated cost of the order. Please be sure to include a correct e-mail address or you will not receive a confirmation. 

Shipping & Handling Rates 
Orders may be shipped anywhere in the world. Shipping & handling charges and appropriate sales taxes are added to all shipped orders. Orders for books that we have in stock will usually be shipped within 72 hours (excludes weekend orders).  All rates apply to each package shipped. 

Prices are subject to change without notice.  

NCTM ships via UPS Ground in the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii must choose shipping via U.S. Mail or upgrade to UPS 2nd Day (Rush fees will apply). UPS does not deliver to PO boxes, so please make sure you include a complete street address. Orders shipping to PO boxes will be sent via U.S. Mail.

Cancelling orders 
If you must cancel an order, please notify us at nctm@nctm.org or by phone (800) 235-7566 as soon as possible. Please include your name, order number, the titles of the books, phone number, and email address where you can be reached.    

International Orders 
International orders must supply a physical shipping address. Customers in Canada are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and fees. 

Why can’t I find an item in the store that is in the catalog? 
Occasionally an item has gone out of print since we published our last catalog. If the item is not available in the online store, chances are it is no longer available. However, you may contact customer service (800) 235-7566 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or nctm@nctm.org to inquire about specific items. 

Are all the items in your online store also in your catalog? 
No, there are items available through our online store that cannot be listed in our catalog.
