Product Description

Chapter 12: “Geometry for Calculus Readiness.” In this chapter originally in NCTM’s Forty-ninth Yearbook (1987), Richard H. Balomenos, Joan Ferrini-Mundy, and Thomas Dick present activities that support an expanded role for geometry in high school mathematics, one that provides readiness for calculus and develops spatial visualization. Each area is discussed using particular examples, ones that would be useful in contemporary classrooms and would most likely be accessible using technological tools. Please note: This product can only be purchased via NCTM’s Online catalog. Non-web payment methods, such as POs, cannot be used to purchase this item.
