Changing the Faces of Mathematics

In 1993, NCTM created a task force on multiculturalism and gender in mathematics. That task force recommended the publication of this six-volume series-each volume with a different focus. Volumes include Perspective on African Americans, Perspectives on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Perspectives on Gender, Perspectives on Indigenous People of North America, Perspectives on Latinos and Perspectives on Multiculturalism and Gender Equity.
