The NCTM 2009 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. came to a close on Saturday, April 25, with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Ron Clark, "America's Educator," speaking at the Closing Session.

What a conference! Rooms were packed and the hallways were buzzing as participants learned from over 800 sessions, networked with teachers from around the world, explored the vibrant exhibit hall, and shopped the ever-popular NCTM Bookstore.

It took hundreds of people working over a year to make the Annual Meeting the great success it was. We thank these individuals for their dedication and thousands of hours volunteered to put the program together, staff the meeting, field questions, and share their knowledge and talents with the NCTM family.  Thank you, Volunteers!
