Exhibit Hall Details & Exhibitor Workshops

Visit the NCTM Exhibit Hall. The hours allow ample opportunity to explore, try out, and purchase products and services for use in your classroom or to help you meet your career goals. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the people who produce these products, get fresh ideas, and see demonstrations of how products work.

ADA Information

NCTM is committed to ensuring that our Regional Conferences are fully accessible to all persons. For any ADA requirements, please contact the NCTM Conference Division at 1906 Association Drive, Reston, VA 20191, fax (703) 295-0956; or email ada@nctm.orgRequests must be made prior to October 28, 2012. 

American Sign Language Interpreters 
If you require an interpreter please submit your request before October 28, 2012. After this date, requests for interpreters cannot be guaranteed, however every effort will be made to accommodate requests.   

Please note: Onsite requests for interpreters cannot be guaranteed without advance notice.

Visual Impairment 
For blind or visually impaired registrants that require an aide or personal assistant to help you navigate the Regional Conference, NCTM will register your aide as a complimentary guest as long as they are a non-teaching individual.   

First Aid Station 
A first aid station will be located at the America’s Convention Center and will be staffed during conference hours. Medical Technicians are available to assist with minor medical problems. However, if you have a medical emergency, please call 911. 

Wheelchair and Scooter Rentals 
Due to the large size of the NCTM Regional Conference & Exposition, sessions are sometimes spread out and distances between sessions can be considerable. If you can get along without a wheelchair but feel that you may need one to navigate the distances at the Convention Center, electric scooters can be rented from

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference events. We recommend that attendees dress in layers because of the variation in room temperatures. Comfortable shoes are essential.

Transportation & Parking

Plan your travel and transportation carefully to save money while you're in Chicago. Below we have outlined various methods of transportation and parking information to the Hyatt Regency Chicago, as well as parking information.

Parking at and near the Hyatt Regency:
The Hyatt Regency Chicago is offering a special daily parking rate to conference attendees! The daily rate is $31 and includes valet parking, in/out privileges and a secure lot.

If you plan to take advantage of the special parking rate and are staying at the Hyatt as part of the NCTM room block, the discounted rate will be included in your bill at checkout. If you are not staying at the Hyatt but park at the hotel, please pick up a parking voucher at registration to ensure you receive the $31 conference parking rate.

Additional parking can be found at the Illinois Center Garage at 111 E. Wacker Drive. This public garage is located just west of the Hyatt. Enter on Wacker Drive. Pricing is as follows and does not include in/out privileges:

0 - 1 hr: $17
1 - 2 hrs: $21
2 - 12 hrs: $26
12 - 18 hrs: $30
18 - 24 hrs: $35
Early Bird - in by 10am, out by 7pm - $18
Evening Special - in between 4-7pm, out by 7am - $13

Taxi Cabs:
The Hyatt Regency is located approximately 20 miles from O’Hare Airport and 12 miles from Midway Airport. Taxi fares to/from O’Hare range between $40 and $45 and to/from Midway between $30 and $35.

Airport Shuttle Services:
Several shuttle and limousine companies are available for rides from Chicago’s O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports to downtown Chicago and the Hyatt Regency. For more information please see the service counters in the airport terminals.

GO Airport Express:
GO Airport Express is a shared ride shuttle provider for Chicago’s O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports to Downtown Chicago. GO Airport Express provides economical shared ride shuttle services with vans departing from O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports every 15 minutes to and from Downtown Chicago. Chicago Transit Authority:
Chicago’s Transit Authority (CTA) is the City of Chicago’s public transportation system that can carry you around town and to neighboring communities. Presently, CTA service is provided by bus and rail. For more information please visit www.transitchicago.com.

Train from O’Hare (ORD):
Train pick-up is below the baggage claim area (follow signs to CTA). Take "L-Train" to Clark/Lake stop (approx. 7 blocks from Hyatt Regency). Take a cab from the Clark/Lake stop or walk East on Lake to Stetson St, turn left at Stetson St and walk 1 block to the hotel.

Train from Midway (MDW):
From the airport take the Orange Line to the State and Lake Street stop. Walk 1 block north to Wacker. Take a right on Wacker and the hotel is approximately 3 blocks.
