The International Congress of Mathematics Education (ICME) is
held every four years under the auspices of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI). The Congress is a forum for mathematics
educators from around the world to exchange ideas, information, and viewpoints
and develop productive dialogue with their peers.

ICME Travel Grants and Reports
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) works to obtain a travel
grant from the National Science Foundation to help fund travel to the Congress
for mathematics educators from the United States, including K−12 teachers,
curriculum and district mathematics specialists, two- and four-year college and
university mathematics educators, mathematics education researchers, graduate
students, and mathematicians.
