To be eligible for NCTM's Student E-Membership, you must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student with an interest in mathematics education. Proof of student status such as registration, class schedule, professor verification, etc., is required. Student E-Membership may be upgraded to individual membership upon graduation and must be upgraded to Full Individual Membership or E-membership after six years.

Student E-Members may add print subscriptions, which include full online access, to school journals for $33 per year or to the research journal for $60 per year. Student E-Members may add online subscriptions to school journals for $17 per year or to the research journal for $31 per year.
