Transportation & Parking

Plan your travel and transportation carefully to save money while you’re in New Orleans. Below are details about various methods of transportation to the convention center, as well as parking information.

New Orleans is served by the Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY).  The airport is located approximately 13 miles from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Ground Transportation from the Airport to the Convention Center by Taxi
A taxi ride costs approximately $33.00 from the airport to the Central Business District for one or two persons, and $14.00 extra per passenger for three or more passengers.

Ground Transportation from the Airport to the Convention Center by Airport Shuttle
Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the Central Business District for $20.00 per person, one-way, or $35.00 per person, round trip. Please click here for more details or to make a reservation.  In order to receive this special group discount for round trip, you must book online at least 24 hours prior to your flight arrival time.

Parking at the Convention Center
On-site parking is available at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Hourly rates vary. Please check directly with your hotel for rates and information on parking in your hotel’s garage or lot.

NCTM Shuttle Service from the Hotel to the Convention Center
Certain designated hotels will offer complimentary shuttle service to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for those attendees who book their hotel rooms through NCTM’s housing bureau. Most hotels are within walking distance of the convention center; therefore, shuttle buses will not serve these hotels. With the very limited hotel shuttle schedule, be sure to check out the Regional Transit Authority website for other means of getting around New Orleans.
