2014 Annual Meeting 590

Lowest Rates and Best Networking

Ernest N. Morial Convention CenterReserve housing now to get the biggest discounts and best hotel options for the NCTM 2014 Annual Meeting & Exposition in New Orleans, April 9-12, 2014. Here are just a few of the benefits you’ll enjoy when you book your room with NCTM:

Save money. NCTM negotiates the lowest possible rates at our conference hotels. In fact, we work closely with the hotels to be sure our rates are the most discounted. And you will never be charged a booking or service fee, like online discounters do. So book your room early to secure the lowest rate at your preferred hotel before rooms sell out.

Get the best networking. Meet leaders in education, consultants, other teachers, and even your next supervisor. Whether you’re having dinner or grabbing your morning coffee, the networking opportunities are boundless when you stay at an NCTM hotel.

Enjoy the convenience. Our headquarters hotel is the Hilton Riverside New Orleans. Other NCTM hotels are also within walking distance of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, so you’ll be right where the action is.

Don’t forget to take advantage of these low rates to include your stay for the NCTM Research Conference, April 7-9.

Book Your Room

NCTM has reserved rooms at discounted rates as low as $169 per night in select hotels near the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Learn more about NCTM’s conference hotels:

Please note: Certain designated hotels will offer complimentary shuttle service to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for those attendees who book their hotel rooms through NCTM’s housing bureau. Most hotels are within walking distance of the convention center; therefore, shuttle buses will not serve these hotels. With the very limited hotel shuttle schedule, be sure to check out the Regional Transit Authority website for other means of getting around New Orleans.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: In 2013, the Louisiana State Legislature passed Act 410 establishing an assessment of 1.75% on the daily hotel room rate. Effective April 1, 2014, the assessment will be applied to the guest folio the same as and in conjunction with sales tax, which is currently 13% in New Orleans and a nightly occupancy tax of $1-$3 (depending on hotel). The assessment is not applicable to incidental or any other such charges, and is mandatory to the hotel guest. These funds are used to manage New Orleans' largest tourism industry and is the first-ever dedicated funding stream for infrastructure and public safety improvements to the historic French Quarter.
