Using Formative Assessment for Student Learning
Learn how to engage with students during
the learning process to improve student achievement. Designed for
educators of grades 3-8, plan to attend this preconference workshop for the models and strategies you need to successfully evaluate
student learning -- while it's happening -- in order to guide future
instruction and move student learning forward.
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support: What are Effective Interventions and Assessments?
Help struggling students develop the
skills and habits that will increase their understanding of mathematical
concepts. Join us for this preconference workshop that will review
the structure and features of common multi-tiered systems, such as RtI.
You'll return to the classroom with activities that support teaching number and operations and algebra readiness in grades 3-8 for students who struggle, as well as assessment strategies that provide ways to gather evidence of students' progress.
