2014 Summer Institutes Chicago Hilton 300pxAll Institute activities will take place at the Hilton Chicago. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago—between both the Magnificent Mile and the up-and-coming Cultural Mile—the Hilton Chicago hotel features signature restaurants and will make your Chicago stay convenient and memorable.

Discounted rates are available for Institute participants, but you must book your room through NCTM to receive the special rate.

ADA Information

American Sign Language Interpreters 
If you require an interpreter please submit your request before July 11, 2014. After this date, requests for interpreters cannot be guaranteed, however every effort will be made to accommodate requests.   

Please note: Onsite requests for interpreters cannot be guaranteed without advance notice.

Visual Impairment 
For blind or visually impaired registrants that require an aide or personal assistant to help you navigate the Institute, NCTM will register your aide as a complimentary guest as long as they are a non-teaching individual. 

Wheelchair and Scooter Rentals
Institute session room locations are sometimes spread out and distances between sessions can be considerable. If you can get along without a wheelchair but feel that you may need one to navigate the distances at the hotel, electric scooters can be rented from:

Attire for the Institute

Business casual attire is appropriate for all Institute events. We recommend that attendees dress in layers because of the variation in room temperatures. Comfortable shoes are essential.
