Sharing Teaching Ideas: Multiplying Polynomials

Abstract:
This article presents an alternative to the traditional method of multiplying polynomials, FOIL. The method can be used with any size of polynomial. The author discusses using this model with his Learning Disabled students and the success that they have had with this method.
