Abstract:
This month: Photographs of the rose window in a famous cathedral stimulate straightedge and compass constructions. "Mathematical Lens" uses photographs as a springboard for mathematical inquiry. In this issue, students analyze a photograph to solve mathematical questions related to the images captured in the photograph.
