Activities for Students: How LO Can You GO? Using GOLO to Illustrate the Sampling Distribution of a Sample Proportion

Abstract:

This activity makes use of a web-interactive golf game to give students an understanding of sampling. Initially used in an introductory statistics class at the undergraduate level, this adaptation is intended for students in grades 9–12 who are learning statistical inference.
