Abstract:
The "Midas Touch" is introduced and solutions are provided. Food for Thought from Jay's Diner poses a problem for classroom use and gives a solution to a previously published problem. Food for Thought from Jay's Diner is a regular department of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School. Student solutions are highlighted in the Thinking of Student department of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School.
