Sherri Martinie; Janet Stramel

February 2004, Volume 9, Issue 6, Page 332

Abstract:
A discussion for families describes why manipulatives continue to be used successfully in the middle school. The purpose for Families Ask is to keep families updated on contemporary topics in the classroom and give them ideas of how to best support their children's mathematical development at home. Families Ask is a regular department of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School.
