Abstract:

An activity about Rock, Paper, Scissors focused on teaching probability. Mathematical Explorations are hands-on, open-ended activities that encourage problem solving, reasoning, communication, and mathematical connections. Mathematical Explorations is a regular feature of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School and highlights activities that develop conceptual understanding of mathematics topics. Activity sheets are included.
