Creating Opportunities for Children to Think Mathematically

Ann Kajander

April 1999, Volume 5, Issue 8, Page 480

Abstract:
Author believes that some students clearly possess ingenuity and mathematical intuition but are not good at more structured algorithmic learning. More emphasis on the creative aspects of mathematics would allow these students, among others, to enjoy mathematical activities.
