Abstract:
How a survey designed to assess attitudes and dispositions about mathematics informed curricular decision making in a fourth-grade setting. By providing opportunities for students to reflect and express their attitudes, both at the beginning and end of the year, one may recognize opportunities to modify instruction to refine teaching.
