Problem-Solving Support for English Language Learners

Abstract:
Instructional support strategies for supporting English Language Learners using problem solving activities. The article presents a lesson built on an adapted version of the classic Chickens and Pigs word problem. The lesson also includes student samples, teaching techniques, and teaching notes to help build understanding.
