Anderson Norton and Andrea McCloskey

August 2008, Volume 15, Issue 1, Page 48

Abstract:
Descriptions and examples of Steffe's fractions schemes, which characterize common conceptions of fractions among children. These schemes are to be used as insights into student's reasoning so teachers can help guide and develop their students fractional awareness or clear up student's misconceptions.
