A Sweet Dilemma

Terry Souhrada

May 2001

Abstract:

Students are asked to design trays for fudge in A Sweet Dilemma. They begin with integer sized pieces, create tables and a scatterplot and move on to large chunks of fudge while creating additional tables, functions and continuous graphs. The final activities deal with optimization and parametric equations.
