Abstract:

 

Novel math problems and solutions, expanding on mathematical connections and offering new insights into familiar math concepts. Forum that allows classroom teachers to share their mathematics from their work with students, their classroom investigations and products, and their other experiences. This issue: An ordinary trigonometry activity involving an area formula for a triangle evolved into a rich mathematical exploration that was interesting and accessible to students and was expanded to include precalculus concepts.
