1. Artificial Turf 

Description: Number and severity of injuries on field turf and on grass from a study that followed 24 NCAA division 1A college football teams over three seasons.

2. Bank Supervisors 

Description: In 1972, 48 male bank supervisors were each given a personnel file and asked to judge whether the person represented in the file should be recommended for promotion or whether the person’s file should be held. The files were identical except that half of the files were labeled Male and the other half Female. The two-way table displays the results.

3. Bicycle Helmet 

 Description: Number of twelfth-grade boys and girls and whether or not they wore a bicycle helmet.

4. Crying 

 Description: A survey collected information from 4,249 young adults age 18 to 28 from 30 countries who had reported crying in the last year and whether crying made you feel better.

5. Fashion 

 Description: Harris Interactive asked samples of adults (age 18 and over) in various countries, “How important are brand names to you, if at all, when purchasing clothes and fashion accessories?”

6. Hispanic Origin 

 Description: The origin of Hispanic residents in U.S. as reported in the 2000 and 2010 Census.

 Description: Number of people from a random sample reporting whether or not they had irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
