Mathematics Education Trust Celebration

By popular demand—and building on the success of the inaugural MET Celebration and Silent Auction in Denver in April 2013—the Mathematics Education Trust (MET) of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is pleased to host Jazz Up!—the 2014 MET Celebration, sponsored by Forrest T. Jones & Company. Honoring the 2014 NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award recipients and other MET awardees, this celebration will take place on Friday, April 11, 2014, in Grand Ballroom C of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. This is a ticketed event.

The celebration will feature a silent auction made up solely of gift cards and certificates, from publishers and vendors, for educational products and materials, photos and memories of current and past MET grant and honor awardees, and attendees will enjoy the sweet New Orleans-style comforts of beignets and coffee, conversation, and live Jazz music. Proceeds from the silent auction will support MET programs. A cash bar will also be available. Tickets are $15 and attendance is limited. Register today. We hope you can join us!
