Please note: there will not be an Internet connection available for speakers in session rooms. Each session room will include a VGA hookup to an LCD projector and only one screen. You are responsible for providing a laptop. If you are bringing a Mac laptop, you must provide your own connector for the LCD projector. When will I receive notification about my speaker proposal?

Acceptance and rejection notification of proposals will be sent in November 2018. if you did not receive such an email, although you received notification that your proposal was submitted correctly, please check your junk email before contacting NCTM. What do I do once I receive my acceptance letter?

    • Make sure that your proposal is accurate. Did your email or address change?
    • All changes or corrections must be made in the Speaker's Corner of the proposal system. You can access this area using the URL in your acceptance letter.
    • Meet the deadline. If you do not accept the invitation to present prior to the deadline, your presentation will not be included in the Research Conference program.

What are the limitations of how many times I can appear on the program?

    • An individual may be a lead speaker on only one proposal. If not a lead speaker, an individual may be a co-speaker on up to two proposals.
    • An individual may appear in the NCTM Research Conference program a maximum of two times. This does not apply to Research Committee members, discussants, or opening/plenary speakers.
