Keep Our Profession STRONG! Give to MET!

We often don’t consider monetary giving within our own profession. However, when you give to MET, you keep our profession STRONG on so many levels. For example, with MET’s assistance teachers can develop creative projects that engage students in learning the geometry found in nature or art. Dynamic technology can be purchased so students can learn mathematics in interactive ways. Schools in rural areas and smaller schools can receive funding for improving the work of coaches and new teachers. Donations to MET allow pre-service and in-service teachers to attend an annual conference for the first time or receive support to pursue coursework and advanced degrees. University educators can receive support for facilitating action research in elementary classrooms. Additionally, MET funding gives affiliate groups an opportunity to design and implement projects that align with their mission and goals.

This is just a small sampling of the kinds of grants and scholarships offered by MET and funded by NCTM and the generosity of donors just like you.
