Equity and Empowerment in Elementary Mathematics
The objective of this grant is to obtain an advanced degree in mathematics education in order to better serve students, teachers and community members. The coursework will provide the latest research and best practices in mathematics education today. The Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching program at Mount Holyoke College will deepen my understanding of early and intermediate mathematics. It will strengthen my skills and expertise as a math teacher and enhance my professional credentials in order to become a highly qualified math specialist or
district math coach. I want to be better equipped to ensure high levels of mathematics experiences are accessible to every student in my county.
