Creating Equity in the Classroom with the Help of Technology
Creating equity in middle school mathematics classes can be accomplished. The use of technology will help to achieve this by giving certain subgroups an opportunity to participate and interact in ways that are comfortable and safe for them. In addition, the SMART podium and SMART Response System will allow students to become engaged and help them to link Math to their lives. They will be able to connect a story to their lives and I will be able to help the story "come alive"!
