Closing the Gap and Raising the Bar
Measurement and number sense are two key concepts in math that are currently problem areas for two separate groups of students: our IEP students making one year of progress but still below proficient and our higher achieving students in the proficient or above range who are progressing less than a years' growth in a year. By combining newly acquired hands on manipulatives and recent training for differentiated instruction, this grant will provide a strong RTII Tier II environment and assist both groups of target students to grow in the specified areas of need.
