Webinar Series: Author Talks - Rigor, Relevance and Relationships: Making Mathematics Come Alive with Project-Based Learning
This book provides an overview of the essential elements of Project Based Learning (PBL) and the evidence that supports its use. It showcases classroom-tested PBL units addressing secondary mathematics standards. Rigor, relevance and relationships are the foundation of PBL. We share projects that provide opportunities to learn rigorous mathematics necessary for college and career readiness, engage students in authentic, relevant challenges and issues, and develop positive relationships between the teacher, students, school, and community members. In this webinar we provide an overview of the 4 sections in which the book is organized.
