subject areas are aligned to specific grade bands—pre-K–5, pre-K–8, or 6–8—and
to specific domains of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM)

an article’s front page, you’ll find information about the particular CCSSM
standards and the works of children’s literature that its lesson plans or
activities will encompass. You can then download the full article from Teaching Children Mathematics or Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School,
along with any associated lesson plans or activity sheets. Articles and lesson plans
are provided as PDF files, while activity sheets are Microsoft Word files that
can be adapted for classroom use.
