Once you have purchased Integrating Math across the K–6
Curriculum, you can access it
anywhere—computer, smartphone, tablet—using any device with an Internet
connection and browser access.
Click on the dropdown menus under
the three main school subjects to explore lessons linking mathematics to thirteen
different topics:
- Science—Life Science, Health, Earth and
Space, The Environment, Physical Science, Engineering and Technology
- Social
Studies—History, Culture, Geography, Government and Civics,
Economics and Personal Finance
- Art—Painting
and Drawing, Craft and Design, Performing Arts
When you reach
each topic’s front page, you’ll find a list of article and lesson titles from
NCTM’s journals and Navigations books. The titles are followed by the grade
level most likely to be appropriate for the difficulty of the material
included. Click on a title, and you’ll get to an article page with links to
download the original article or Navigations section, along with accompanying
lesson plans and activity sheets. Articles and lesson plans are provided as PDF
files, while activity sheets are either PDFs or Microsoft Word files that can
be adapted for classroom use.
