Teaching Children Mathematics (TCM) would not exist without the voluntary efforts of many mathematics educators. This journal benefits from the experience of those who have served as department editors, reviewers, and referees as well as members of the Editorial Panel.
TCM Editorial Panel members are appointed by the president of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and are approved by the Board of Directors. In April 2016, Pamela Gruzynski, Ralph Connelly, Drew Polly, and Wendy Bray completed their terms on the TCM Editorial Panel. Gruzynski, Connelly, and Polly are serving as editors of the upcoming October 2016 Focus Issue, titled “Revealing the Facets of Assessment.”
During the past year, “Math Tasks to Talk About” (http://www.nctm.org/TCMblog/MathTasks) continued to offer a variety of perspectives on cognitively demanding tasks for Pre-K–Grade 6 students. This blog would not have been possible without contributions from guest bloggers:

The importance of department editors to the quality of this journal is impossible to overstate. Holly Henderson Pinter kept readers abreast of current events via the News & Views department, and Robyn Silbey offered great tips every month in the Coaches’ Corner column. Sandy Linder led the Math by the Month department. In Problem Solvers, Sarah Quebec Fuentes and J. Matt Switzer posed challenging new problems each month. Ed Enns insightfully reviewed solutions to previously published problems. The iSTEM department (Integrating Science, Technology, and Engineering in Mathematics) benefited from the leadership of Terri L. Kurz and H. Bahadir Yanik. Martha Hildebrandt and Theodore (Teddy) Chao skillfully led the popular Postscript department.
Each article that appears in TCM is judged (i.e., peer reviewed) for content and style by at least three referees. In addition, volunteer reviewers agree to evaluate books and other instructional materials for the journal. These volunteers serve open-ended terms. The names of people serving as referees and reviewers as of December 1, 2015, appear on the following list. The effort of all these individuals in maintaining the quality and vitality of Teaching Children Mathematics is greatly appreciated.
