I used the Contiq Game many times in my first-year Algebra classes. Most of my students needed a lot more practice building expressions with grouping symbols. This game challenges students to create expressions using numbers that come up on three dice, in order to be able to put an X on the calculated value of their expression on a game board. The points are acquired by how many other Xs on the board your X touches. Because my students weren’t learning the order of operations, just improving their skills, this was great for half days or emergency substitute.
