Kandinsky, Klee & Mondrian: Using Abstract Art to Teach Geometric Concepts & Fractions

Students learn how shapes play a role in artistic design and apply mathematical concepts while creating their own interpretations of works by Kandinsky (area of circles), Klee (fractions), and Mondrian (area and perimeter of quadrilaterals). Student work will be showcased.
