Claudia Bertolone-Smith is an Assistant Professor of Education at California State University, Chico. Claudia has a masters degree and a PhD in mathematics education and currently instructs mathematics methods and other courses to pre-service teachers. She is passionate about the teaching and learning of mathematics and believes in the power of mathematical discourse! She has over 20 years experience in the elementary school classroom, and has instructed grades one through seven.
