Sherri Martinie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction at Kansas State University. She was an elemtary school teacher for 7 years, a middle school math teacher for 5 years, and a high school math teacher for 7 years before taking her position at Kansas State. She has taught elemetary and secondary math methods courses as well as graduate level mathematics education courses. Her research interests focus on effective mathematics teaching practices.
