Dana Islas is a Curriculum Service provider in Tucson, Arizona. She supports teachers to deepen content knowledge and refine instructional practices. Dana earned her Bachelor’s in Education at the University of Arizona and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona. Dana achieved National Board Certification in 2003 and in 2013. She is the 2008 recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Dana is the author of the multi-media resource How to Assess While You Teach Math, K-2 and the co-author of How to Assess While you Teach Math, 3-5.
