Winter Conference – “Our Goal: High Quality Learning for Everyone”
Beyond assessments such as PARCC and Smarter Balanced, what should
quality classroom practices look like. The Keynote Speaker will be Steven
Leinwand, the lead author of NCTM's landmark publication, "Principles to
Actions: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All". Steve served as the State
Math Specialist for the Connecticut Department of Education for 22 years and is
currently a lead researcher for the American Institute for Research, Inc. He is
a former President of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics. The conference will be held at the National Conference
