How Do You Purposefully Advocate with Your Mathematical Curriculum?

“Engagement” is the educational buzzword. As students matriculate through their mathematical courses, certain curriculum can take the “engagement” out of learning. If, as a leader, you take a macro view of curriculum; are students utilizing different technology to dig deeper into a concept? Are projects/activities developed for students to explore mathematics with a tactile approach? Your students and the educators you lead might get what they need, but do they get what they want? Let’s discuss the true purpose of curriculum and collaborate on ways we as leaders can advocate for educators and students to enhance our curriculum.
