Fitness Series 

Join us at 11:00am EST each day of the Virtual Conference for an hour fitness break. Each day features a specialized class led by a fitness professional. We hope you’ll pick up some new moves and walk away with a boost of energy for the day.

Note: the fitness class is live each day and will be recorded and posted back to the virtual conference platform so you can catch the videos OnDemand. 

Pilates with Theresa Pride
Tuesday, Feb 2 at 11:00-12:00 pm EST

In this class, you’ll learn how to properly activate your core, and challenge your body in a no impact, safe way. You’ll finish feeling taller, stronger, and centered. Small weights, a stretch strap or a long towel, and a mat are great additions to this workout, but not required. All levels are welcome, as each exercise will have options to modify or advance.

Zumba By Saadia
Wednesday, Feb 3 at 11:00-12:00 pm EST

The class consists of a 55 minute class including warmup, dance aerobics, and cool down consisting of Zumba and BollyX routines.  No special equipment required, please wear proper footwear as safety is top priority. 

Strength Training + Nutritional Q&A with Krista Fudge
Thursday, Feb 4 at 11:00-12:00 pm EST

Participants should bring a dumbbell or pair of dumbbells and a mat if they have one.  If they don’t have dumbbells it’s ok (I’ll be providing modifications for no equipment).
This Strength Training workout will be centered around building foundational strength with little to no equipment.  This is good knowledge to have during this time with the COVID restrictions and will also be beneficial knowledge long term if you ever want to get a workout in while traveling.  We will spend about 10 minutes stretching and getting warmed up, about 20-25 minutes working out, 5 min stretching and cool down, and finish with a talk on getting the most out of your workouts with nutrition and Q&A.

Mobility + HIIT with Madison Deaton
Friday, Feb 5 at 11:00-12:00 pm EST

What if you could feel good from the inside out without punishing or hating your body? In this class, Instructor will help you connect deeper with yourself, feel energized, and release those nagging aches & pains throughout your body. We'll combine mobility with high intensity interval training (HIIT) for an empowering and motivational workout. You'll leave this class feeling inspired and at home in your body.   Equipment needed: Yoga mat, water bottle.  Mobility + HIIT for all levels  

Yoga with Serena Sutter
Saturday, Feb 6 at 11:00-12:00 pm EST

50-60 min Simple yoga flow with relaxation, perfect for all levels. This class is easy to follow, even if you've never done yoga before! You will only need some where either carpeted or a mat would be great if you have one. Prepare to sweat a little and relax a lot!  

Wednesday, February 3 at 9:15 - 9:45 pm EST

Get ready to laugh! Good, clean comedy at its best! Join us in Engage & Play space on Wednesday, February 3 from 9:15 - 9:45 pm EST. Treandos Thornton is here to make you laugh. 

Treandos has been featured on both national television and radio programming such as Atlanta Live, Underground comedy of Atlanta, TST Late night Comedy, and SCBTV. The comedian travels extensively performing at comedy clubs, weddings, and at churches throughout the country. He has spent over a decade performing comedy. He is a loving husband and father.  

Lunch Jamz

Tuesday through Friday join DJ J- Smoov from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST in the Engage & Play space as he creates an energy-filled environment by using music to bring people together. He specializes in pop, r&b, hip-hop, old school and top 40. Drop in for a few minutes or spend the hour dancing in your kitchen as he spins. You can even put a request in the chat to hear your favorite song.  

Sip and Paint 
Thursday, Feb 4 at 9:15 – 10:15 pm EST

Grab a glass of wine and get your paint brushes ready and join us as we follow simple step-by-step instructions to paint a canvas.  You do not need to be an artist to have fun! 

What you will need:

  • Canvas
  • Acrylic Paints
  • Brushes
  • Good Lighting
  • Paper plates/water/paper towels
